Reefer capacity expanded to support agricultural exports

MONROVIA, Liberia — Ducor Terminals has commissioned an expanded refrigerated container facility, adding monitored plug points and introducing a revised cold-chain protocol covering reception, monitoring and pre-shipment inspection for temperature-controlled cargo.
The expansion responds to growing demand from Liberian and regional exporters of fresh and frozen produce, fish and other perishables. All reefer boxes are now monitored around the clock with automated alarm response, and temperature records are available to customers on request for quality-assurance and insurance purposes.
“Agricultural exporters compete on reliability,” said the terminal's Commercial Director. “With additional capacity and a tighter cold chain, exporters can route through Monrovia with confidence that their product arrives as it left.”
The facility operates to recognised international cold-chain standards and is supported by trained reefer technicians on every shift.
